2 in 1: Baked pumpkin feta or pumpkin pasta sauce With Omega-3!

2 in 1 Baked Pumpkin Feta or Pasta Sauce with Omega-3: In addition to feta, tomatoes, onions and aromatic herbs, oven-baked pumpkin is added to this dish. The special thing about this recipe is that it can be prepared two ways: as fresh oven feta with vegetables or as a delicious pumpkin pasta sauce by putting all the oven ingredients directly into the blender and making a creamy sauce. A very simple recipe for you and the whole family
Simply pour over the cooled dish Omega-3 oil over it and you have your daily dose of omega-3 and a delicious new pumpkin dish. Try it out and enjoy!
Ingredients for 6 servings
- 700 g Hokkaido pumpkin
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 200 g Cherry tomatoes
- 1 large red onion
- 60 g marinated, dried tomatoes
- 1 Feta
- 3-4 tbsp olive oil
- 80 ml of broth
- Herbs: 1 handful of fresh rosemary, thyme and oregano (or dried)
- approx. 1 TL Salz
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon NORSAN Omega-3 oil optionally
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom.
- Wash, peel and cut the vegetables and place them in a large baking dish.
- Add herbs, olive oil and broth and mix well.
- Make a hole for the feta and place it in the center.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 50 min. Remove the foil and roast for another 15 min.
- Serve the oven feta and vegetables either immediately warm and add a spoonful of omega-3 oil to each serving once cooled.
- Or conjure a pasta sauce: add about 150 ml of additional liquid (broth, oat or cashew cream) and mix with the other ingredients.
- Serve with cooked whole wheat pasta and enjoy with your daily serving omega-3 oil once it has cooled.
