At NORSAN, we obtain our fish oil from wild and sustainable fisheries. Instead of obtaining fish oil as a by-product, we extract it directly from the whole fish. We catch small fish such as sardines, mackerel and anchovies in their natural habitat. Our fishing meets strict guidelines for sustainable fishing and is certified by the renowned "Friends of the Sea" label.

We carefully purify and control our fish oil from contaminants and PCBs according to strict Norwegian regulations. Our fish oil is 100% natural and free of concentrates, ensuring a pure and high-quality oil.

Natural fish oil consists of a complex of more than 50 fatty acids. During the extraction and purification of fish oil, the natural structure of the fatty acids is preserved. Why is flaxseed oil alone not enough?

For example, of all vegetable oils, flaxseed oil contains particularly high amounts of ALA. Nuts and chia seeds also contain ALA. It is important to note that ALA has a limited ability to be converted into the important marine omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. The conversion factor is only 0.5-10% and is highly dependent on weight, metabolism and other factors. Scientific studies broadly conclude that intake of ALA alone, cannot regulate EPA and DHA deficiency.

Natural fish oil, olive oil, colecalciferol (vitamin D), mixed tocopherols (vitamin E). The lemon-flavored Omega-3 Total contains a few drops of natural lemon oil.

Storage

Store unopened products away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place. At temperatures below 4°C, crystals may form. These crystals dissolve after a few minutes at room temperature. After opening, store the bottle in the refrigerator and consume within 45 days. It is recommended to shake the bottle briefly before use. Keep out of the reach of small children. Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet, nor a substitute for a healthy lifestyle.

Intake

The recommended daily dose is 8 ml, equivalent to about 1 tablespoon. For the best absorption in the body, it is recommended to take the oil along with (or just after) a meal.
