NORSAN's journey began in Norway in 2006. In 2012, when our founder and CEO, Joakim Graff, decided to move from Norway to Germany for the love of it, Germany quickly became the main territory.
In our luggage, we have a high-quality natural fish oil, our Omega-3 Total, a mission and a clear vision. Our mission has always been to educate people about the importance and effects of omega-3 and to improve the supply of omega-3 by omega-3 products of high quality to offer. Our vision and goal, then and now, is to be able to find an omega-3 oil in every kitchen.
Because we were and are convinced that high-quality food should remain as natural as possible and be taken as it is. True to our Product philosophy A good oil does not need to be "hidden" in a capsule and simply belongs in the kitchen and in our daily lives.

Are NORSAN Omega-3 oils dietary supplements?
Shortly before 8 a.m. on a Monday morning, the phone rings, "Mr. Graff, you don't sell dietary supplements, you sell food. Resources to live on."
A few years ago - in 2014 - these were the words of a distinguished professor of medicine who enthusiastically called me back, after learning about NORSAN oils for the first time the weeks before. "Yes, professor, you are 100 % right. That's exactly how it is," I could answer even more enthusiastically and happily myself. It gives me great pleasure when others see our products in exactly the same way as we do. Our oils are foods, even though they are officially labeled nutritional supplements. When we are asked what makes our oils so special, what our secret is, our answer is: there really is no secret. Because for us it's a matter of course that we try to offer fish oil - and since a few years also algae oil - of the best quality. We try to do that as simply as possible and with as few ingredients as possible. That's all. As a specialized omega-3 company, we see it as our job to always offer the best omega-3 oils. Always natural. Always high-dose, preferably 2000 mg of omega-3 per day. Like any other good food, a good omega-3 oil belongs in every kitchen. What is already the norm in Norway should soon find its way everywhere else.
